You know what though, there’s a huge chance that you will reap those rewards. So the next time you’re in a bummy zone and can’t think of a reason to get things done, visually the rewards.

Think of what finishing that project will get you. visualize how healthy you’ll feel and look when you start your workout routine. Think of how good your meal will taste when you’re done cooking it.

Whatever it is, think of the result you’ll get when you’ve completed it. Find your why or the reason you want to accomplish this goal.

Divide big goals into small goals

If you’re relenting in getting up to accomplish a project, it might be because the project is a lot. When a project is a lot and feels like it’s going to last a long time, we don’t usually want to get up and start on it.

So to help with that, plan out whatever you have to do into smaller parts. Think of it in terms of school projects. When you’re giving a huge project to finish in a month, it’s always better to divide that project into small parts.

The best way to do so is to plan out what you have to do. Write it down and give yourself a date when you have to finish each part.

Declutter your space

Do you now that having a messy space especially workspace can affect your mood? The messier your most frequented space is, the more overwhelmed and stressful you might feel.

Try to declutter your space when you feel um=nmotivated. Surround yourself with things and people that make you happy. Add beauty to your room, car, or office.

I know for me whenever I feel too mentally cluttered, cleaning my room is a sure way to help me feel great again. I love to light candles, open the curtain to lighten the room, and sometimes put on calming music.

Connect with like-minded people

Find people who want to accomplish the same goals as you. Make sure these people can hold you accountable for reaching your goals and help them do the same.

It can be a friend, a class, even an online group. The point is to have someone who has the same goal in mind and wants to reach them as much as you do.

When I started going to the gym about a year ago, it was so helpful to have someone else to go with. if I didn’t feel like going, he’d help me get into the mood to go. I’d do the same for him when he didn’t feel like going.

Relax and take a break

If nothing else works, you might need a break. Maybe you’re too tired to get started right now.

Whatever you usually do to help you relax, do so. If listening to music helps, go at it and play your favorite playlist. Drink some tea, do some yoga.

The point is to get away from thinking and stressing over what you need to do and just relax at the moment.
